She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ludwig and Emma Ludwig (Schmid); her husband William "Bill" Koenen; her brothers, Ronnie Ludwig (Rosie) and Wayne "Geno" Ludwig (Kay); her nephew Michael Ludwig; and her niece Tena Schmidt.
She is survived by: her sons, Craig Koenen (Susie), Kyle Koenen (Deanna) and Kurt Koenen; her grandchildren, Alan, Matthew, Christopher, Alyssa and Hannah; and her brother Martin "Richard" Ludwig (Jane Fossum). She is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
