He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Roou and Lona Roou (Henderson); his brother Charles; and his niece Jayne Stalsberg (Roou). He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Wopat (Patt); his children, Brian (Kim), David (Kris), John (Tracy) and Nicole Zabel (Jeff); his grandchildren, Zoe, Jack, Erin, Finn, Maggie, Megan, Walter, Mike, Dean and Jillian; and his niece Mary McLees (Roou).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Viroqua American Legion Post 138.
