He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mikels and Emily Mikels (Schroder); and his former wife Barbra Jean Loya. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Mary Clara of Stoddard, Kellie Makowski (Bob) of Lake, Fred Mikels of Crystal Lake, IL and Sam Jones of Stoddard; his grandchildren, Phillip Makowski, Natalie, April Mikels, Alexis Jones and Luna Lloyd; his close friends, Windy, Alda May Buxton, John and Judy Neuerburg; and his friend Eagles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
