She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Thompson and Edna Thompson (Van Dyke); and her siblings, Janice Skrede, Joyce Bolt, Dwaine Thompson and Donald Thompson.
She is survived by: her child Jean; her spouse Thorwald D. Peterson; her sisters, Jerrine Kellicut of La Crosse and Bernice Campbell of Sauk City; and her brother-in-law Edward Peterson (Bonnie) of Stoddard. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials should be directed to Bad Axe Lutheran Church in Jean's name.
