It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Lucille Young (Viroqua, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 24, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tenny Ostrem and Mae Ostrem (Tally); her significant other Leslie 'Jiggs' Young; her daughter Susan Shore; her brothers, Rufus and Maynard Ostrem; her half-brother Telmer Christianson; and her sister-in-law Yvonne Lueth.
She is survived by: her close friends, Kelly Gabrielson, Sally Roth and Betty Cox; her children, Alene Hanson (Douglas), Patricia Oldenburg (Wayne) and Randy Young (April); her grandchildren, Tammy, Tonia, Michael, Sarah, Matthew, Daniel and Vanna; and her nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Sandra, Mark, Barbara and Todd. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers or plants memorials can be made to Viroqua Church of Christ or to the charity of the donor's choice in Irene's name.
