With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Galen James Elben (Viroqua, Wisconsin), born in Shell Rock, Iowa, who passed away on July 21, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benhard Eiben and Sophia Eiben (Lubben); and his siblings, Ray Eiben and Ruth Graft. He is survived by: his wife Jayne Eiben of Viroqua; his daughters, Vicky Eiben (Randall Kahn) of LaFarge, Valerie Strauss of Austin and Margaret Hoversten (Robert) of Viroqua; his grandchildren, Marian Strauss, Kenneth Hoversten, Jesse Kahn and Elizabeth Hoversten; and his siblings-in-law, Garth Graft of Marengo and Marilyn Myers of Bloomington.
