She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Crook and Edith Crook (Ward); her spouse Orland Thompson; her son-in-law Terry Tryggestad; her siblings, Fred Crook (Vivian), Jerry Crook (Barb), William Crook, Betty Hollenbach (Ray), Dorothy Rein (Robert), Pat Dobbs and Clyde Crook; and her brother-in-law Roger Farrell.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Tryggestad, Cheryl Starr (Kirk Gilman), Kerry Thompson (Bette) and Siri Halverson (Don); her grandchildren, Tory Tryggestad (Teresa), Corey Starr (Katie) and Casey Halverson (Cassie); her sisters, Lynn Farrell and Jeannie Callies (Clarence); and her sister-in-law Betty Crook. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kickapoo United Lutheran Church (s8304 Co Rd J, Soldiers Grove, WI 54655). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Kickapoo United Lutheran Church Cemetery (s8304 Co Rd J, Soldiers Grove, WI 54655).
