He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Everett Wells and Pearl Grace (McDonald); his siblings, Kenneth Wells, Beulah, Ethel and Edna; and his daughter Rosa Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Eggers; and his siblings, Lewis II Wells (Gloria) and Fidella Hinch (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
