It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlin Hisel of Viola, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eara Hisel and Annie Hisel (Caucutt); and his siblings, Orville, Bob, Marie Waurzazek, Iris Nofsinger, Thalia Ellefson and Beverly Nofsinger.
He is survived by: his wife La Vonne Hisel; his son Mike Hisel; and his stepchildren, Linda Kroscher, Kathy Andersen, Sandy Peterson (Steve), Mary Rusk, Gwen Young (Michael) and Spencer Fox Jr. (Angie). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
