James Albert Baker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Albert Baker (Viola, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Susan Anderson (Baker); his grandson Jack Bucklin; his siblings, Virginia Mullendore (Baker), Floyd Baker and Larry Baker; and his parents-in-law, James Sanford, Murl Parker and Evan Parker.

He is survived by: his wife June; his daughter Sharon Willeford (Steven); his grandchildren, Susanna, Laine, Katherine, Evan Bucklin and Gracie Willeford; his son James Jr. Baker (Patti); his grandchildren, James McCullick, Cody Dvorak, Tanya Dvorak and Josephine Baker; his great grandchildren, Eric Anderson, Lisa Peterson (C. J.), Alexander and Angelica Peterson; his siblings, Alice Phillips (LaVern), Mauretta Sanford, William Baker (Julienne), Carol Dortman (Steve) and Alberta Baker (John); and his parents-in-law, Lois Barber, Dale Parker (Lola), Alice Parker, Sara Jane Parker and Bruce Mullendore.

When Covid-19 cut out the card-playing, Jim enjoyed working on Cryptograms, which helped him be the best Wheel of Fortune living room player!

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's name can be made to the Viola Rescue Squad, the Viola Cemetery, or the charity of your choice.
