We bid farewell to Gerald Edward Wendorf of Viola, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 24, 2024 at the age of 86. Gerald Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto W. Wendorf and Mary Wendorf (Bass). He is survived by: his children, Tracy Solverson (Dan) and Jeff Wendorf (JoDean); his brother-in-law Randy Wanless; his grandchildren, Justin Wendorf (Madison), Jennie Solverson (Tullan Baird), Austin Wendorf (Kalab Hamilton) and Samuel Solverson (Nancy Zhou); his nephews, Bob Wendorf (Terry), Roger Wendorf (Teri) and Randy Williams (June); and his niece Linda Desimowich. He is also survived by great nephews and nieces, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Viola United Methodist Church (225 N Washington St, Viola, WI 54664). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the following are appreciated: St. Croix Hospice, Kickapoo School District (new sign fund), or Viola United Methodist Church.
