He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Weinfurter and Dorothy Weinfurter; his daughter Heather Weinfurter; his stepmother Marie Weinfurter; and his brother Bob Weinfurter.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ruess; his daughters, Sarah Weinfurter of Madison, WI and Shanna Weinfurter of Eau Claire, WI; and his siblings, Lois Mancl (Jim), Carl Weinfurter (Margaret), Laurence Weinfurter, Clara Elsen (Fran), Arne Weinfurter (Evonne McCoy), Dave Weinfurter (Katie), Doris Mielke (Carl), Teresa Hartjes (Dave) and Tom (Laurie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
