He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Bauman and Lorena Bauman (Zirbel); and his brother-in-law Owen Bean. He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley Reiman; his children, Brenda DuPree (Jim), Mark Bauman (Tammy) and Valerie Malinowski (Jerry); his wife Elaine Bottensek; his grandchildren, Lindsey Peters (David), Dr. Stormie Reiman (Chad Stevenson), Brandon Gruetzmacher, Chelsey Gruetzmacher (Spencer), Katy Gruetzmacher, Dr. Kelly Groskopf (David), Sophia Gruetzmacher, Ella Gruetzmacher and Vivian Gruetzmacher; his great grandchildren, Isabella Peters, Anna Peters, Taysha Mullen and Oskar Groskopf; and his sister Sharon Vollert (Irv). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
