He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Smith; his children, Lisa Shirek (Mike), Amy Vang (Toua), Amanda Oligney (Jeremiah) and Matthew Oligney (May Yer); his stepchildren, Tori Peterson (Jeremiah) and Brittany Vollert (Tony); his siblings, Donnie Shirek (Barb), Dale Shirek (Karen), Sharon Hollar (Robert) and Janice Rozek (Len); and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Shirek and Dennis "Denny" Danczyk. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
