He was predeceased by: his parents, William Martinson and Mary Emma Gehin; his stepmother Gladys Martinson; his siblings, Don and Patty Owen; his wife Corrine Alsmo Martinson; his daughter Paula Jeanne Ricker; his wife Shirlee Menigoz Martinson; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Hodel, Linda Martinson, Carol Martinson, Joe Menigoz, Don Janquart, John Paitl, Russell Alsmo, Norman Alsmo, Alden Alsmo, Kenneth Alsmo, Curtis Ellestad, Lawrence Raedel, Margaret Ellestad-Stolen, Ruth Raedel, Dorothy Alsmo and Winnett Alsmo.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Grover (Eric) and William D. Martinson Jr. (Chris Smith); his son-in-law Brian Ricker (Travis Ricker); his stepchildren, Rick Schmale (Cathy), Kathy Beyer (Jim), Lisa Grumann and Teri Nolden (Don); his grandchildren, Enna Doyle, Alyssa Grover, Craig Ricker, Travis Ricker, Kyle Grover (Amy), Klint Grover (Libby), Josh Schmale (Tiana), Dan Schmale (Crystal), Jamie Beyer (Maja), Anna Mickey (Connor), Sara Beyer (Alejandro), Kelly Redenbaugh (Will) and Tegan Grumann (Jay); his siblings, Robert (Sharon), Richard (Ardith), Kenneth (Vickie), Thomas, Timothy (LuAnn), Gary (Rebecca), David (Chunping) and Mary Lou Hodel; his stepsisters, Beverly and Janet; his siblings-in-law, Marlene Alsmo, Amy Alsmo, James Alsmo, Mary Janquart, Joan Paitl and Michelle Menigoz; and his son-in-law Eric Grover. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
