He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wendt and Mildred Wendt. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Wendt; his children, Jennifer Wendt and Ronald Wendt (Emily Fischer); his sister Darlene Hunt (Pete); and his granddaughter Phie Wendt. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
