He is survived by: his parents, James Cunningham and Helen Birch Cunningham; his spouses, Jocelyn Snyder and Dara Longhenry; his children, Steve Cunningham (Jeri), Laura Novak (Steve), Christina Cunningham, Bridgit Clements (Bryan) and Joel Cunningham (Jodi); his sisters, Patsy McComish, Judy Viney, Marie Wheeler and Donna Loeffelholz; and his grandchildren, Brian, Ashley, Nicolle, Courtney, Bryan, Jesse, Raina, Isaac and Elizabeth.
