It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodney Waldmann (Verona, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Waldmann and Mabel Waldmann (Duncalf); his sisters, Helen Tuntland and Fern Gintz; and his nephew Richard.
He is survived by: his former wife Helen Nagel; his children, Theresa (Terri) and Richard; his friend Don Benson; his wife Doris Waldmann; his daughter Terri Kamp (Steve); his stepdaughters, Dawn Lingard (Steve Witcraft) and Diana Halverson (Steve); his granddaughters, Aleta and Brianna Halverson; his great grandchild Charlee Heberlein; his nieces, Fern Keniston of Golden Valley, MN and Jeanette Munoz Jr.; and also Richard.
To celebrate Rod's life, family & friends are invited to visitation at Salem United Church of Christ, Verona on Wednesday, November 11th from 1:00 P. M. to 3:00 P. M. Please respect the guidelines and wear a mask while socially distancing as requested by Dane County. Due to Covid restrictions, a private funeral service will take place immediately after the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem United Church of Christ, Agrace Hospice Fitchburg or the Verona American Legion Post 385.
