He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert, Sr. Hesslink and Camilla Hesslink (Reisner); and his siblings-in-law, Ray Borst, Ron Kappelman, David Kildsig and Jo Ann Borst.
He is survived by: his wife Caryl; his sisters, Monica (Fred Zittel) of Sheboygan and Suzanne Kildsig of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; and his sister-in-law Janice Kappelman of Rapid City. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews; five grandnieces; one grandnephew; and many cousins.
