He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Kane and Elva Kane (Wamsley); his stepmother Marie Kane; his sister Mary; and his brother-in-law Bob Durley.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Harried (Owen) of Madison, Sheila "Tillie" Vogt (Ronald "Al") of Verona and Michael Kane (Julie) of Mount Horeb; and his siblings, Don Kane and Joan Henkel (Dave). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
