He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Russell and Margaret Mary Riesen (McCormick). He is survived by: his wife Patty Blumer Riesen; his daughters, Rebecca Riesen of Placitas, NM and Melissa Riesen of Albuquerque, NM; his stepsons, Ronald Blumer of Madison, WI and Scott Blumer (Melinda) of Monroe, WI; his grandchildren, Avery Kruger, Maya, Zoe Borck, Veronica Blumer (Peter) and Sarah Blumer; and his siblings, Patrick Riesen (Laura), Sharon Lieberstein, Jane Riesen (Bernard Ellefson), Ann Barnard (Mark), John Riesen and Mike Riesen (Sonja). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ryan Funeral Home (220 Enterprise Dr, Verona, WI 53593). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
