She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth and Robert Frederick Kennett; her husband Walter Gerard Doherty; her brother-in-law Doug Furgerson; and her granddaughter Faith Mary Bond.

She is survived by: her pets, Sandy and Amanda; her sister Patty Black (Malcolm); her children, Justin Doherty (Martha) of Verona, WI, Ian Doherty (Dawn) of Windsor, WI, Kathleen Doherty (Andy) of Madison, WI and Kelly Bond (Jeff) of Monona, WI; her grandchildren, Joseph, Erin, Amber (Scott), Sean, Christian, Sam, Stevie and Rene; and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Rosie, Christopher and Koren. She is also survived by her children, her sister, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Dane County Humane Society, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, or the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County.
