He was predeceased by: his parents, Thorwald Danielsen and Carrie Danielsen; his daughter Danita Burgess; and his siblings, Wayne, Melvin, Jean and Virginia.

He is survived by: his uncle Bill; his wife Joanne Pyorala; his daughters, Debra Gray, Dawn Danielsen and Danell Danielsen; his grandchildren, Jim McSherry (Mary), Dylan McSherry and Dana Sadewasser; his siblings, Delmar (Betty), Dale, Paul, Marlene and Janice (Daryl); and also Joanne Danielsen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
