He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Cox and Norma Jean Cox (Campbell); his son Paul Cox; and his parents-in-law, Mary Ellen, Syl Acker and Vincent Ziegler.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ziegler; his children, Denise Cox-Holpin, Paula Thompson (Andy), Jenny Randall (Mark), Richard Cox and Leon Holpin (Pam); and his siblings, David Cox (Jane), Donna Starks, Barb Ace and Mary Lou Maier (Marv). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
