He was predeceased by: his parents, William Klahr and Jeanette Klahr; and his wife Mary. He is survived by: his uncle Sam; his close friend John "Captain" Lohr; and his children, Jon (Liz), Bill (Sue), Kathy Henderson (Kerry) of Cedarburg, WI, Joan (Mike), Mike (Heidi) and Dan (Shannon).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Special Olympics.
