With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debra Diane Herfel of Verona, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo "Duke" Disch and Betty Jean Disch (Holcomb); her parents-in-law, Horace and Lillian Herfel; and her brothers, Gerald (Yvonne Herfel) and Russel Riley Deb.
She is survived by: her husband Curt Herfel; her children, Shelly Johnson (Bob), Traci Herfel (Roger Handler) and Curtis H. Herfel (April Jo Watson); her grandchildren, Nicole, Kortni Johnson, Alex Grignano and Lillian Handler; her siblings, Dennis Disch (Phyllis), Cheryl Disch (Roger), Linda Sies (Bob), Judy Ross (Dave), Terry Disch and Deanna Prochaska; her brother-in-law Ray Herfel (Irene); and her friends, Lois Mimetz, Dennis, Anna Brady, Chris Disch, Dave, Loretta Herfel, Kristen Steivang, Brian Miller, Curt, Ben Shortreed and Kara Flentje. She is also survived by 10 nephews & 4 nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home (109 Greenway Cross Ct, Belleville, WI 53508). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem United Church of Christ (502 Mark Dr, Verona, WI 53593).
