She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Thompson and Bert Thompson; her husband Alex; her siblings, Lester Thompson, Marvin Thompson and Beverley Himsel (Eldon); and her son-in-law Keith Lutz.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Lutz of Janesville, Jane, Jeff Metzler of Stoughton and Julie Miller of Verona; her grandchildren, Heather Burton (Jeremy), Sarah Oswald (Jon), Melissa Newton (Doug), Jeffrey Metzler (Amy), Betsy Pearson (Amos), Nathan Miller and Jon Miller (Jessica); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Knight, Delores "Cookie" Thompson and Joan Miller. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
