He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Avedon and Ethel Avedon (Sholtz); his wife Silvana; and his children, Tracy Avedon-Weiner, Dana "Michelle" Drossart, Renée Avedon Shekarchian and Loren Avedon. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
