With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bette Mae (Hall) Behrens (Verona, Wisconsin), born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on December 25, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hall and Viola Hall; her spouse Reverend James F. Behrens; her stepfather Walter Behrens; and her sisters, Ora Gremmels, Meriel Kuester and Mary Erpelding.

She is survived by: her children, James Behrens (Jane) and Deborah Puchner (Thomas); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Eyal Karsh), Rebecca Behrens (Blake Merriman), Mollie, T. J. and Tim Puchner (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Eva Behrens-Karsh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Agrace HospiceCare or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
