She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Volker and Dorothy Volker (Dahlk); and her husband Duane Hanson. She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Hanson (Jamie), Steve Hanson (Becky) and Lisa Hanson; her grandchildren, Erik Hanson (Kara), Christopher Hanson, Anna Neitenbach (Yari) and Jenna Adler (Josh); her great grandchildren, Wyatt Neitenbach and Finley Adler; and her siblings, John Volker (Mary), Doug Volker (Karen), Bill Volker (Mary), Fred Volker (Colleen) and Beth Brown (Bill). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Barbara to be designated at a later date.
