He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph Hoyer, Delores and Elmer Meyer; and his uncle Brian Ehrgott. He is survived by: his parents, Ron Hopfensperger and Debi Hopfensperger; his siblings, Dawn Woodfin, Elizabeth Wilson (Josh Wilson) and Andy Hopfensperger (Tiffany Hopfensperger); his nieces and nephews, Brett Isajiw and Sami Isajiw; his great-nephew Bennett; his nieces and nephews, Avery Isajiw, Edward, Kyle Woodfin, Lily, Lincoln Hopfensperger, Maddie Surgenor, Barrett and Dalylah Wilson; and his grandparents, Ron, Marliea Hopfensperger and Alice Hoyer. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
