He is survived by: his wife Donna Byers; his children, Roy Birkholz (Leslie) of Colorado, Patty Ronning of Fond, Joe Birkholz (Nancy) of Fond and Lac; and his brothers, Don Birkholz of Elkhart Lake and Paul (Nanci) of Fond. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.
