He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stahmann and Cora Schenk Stahmann. He is survived by: his wife Kaye Stahmann; his daughters, Kelly Laabs (Nate), Korlea Thiem (Dan) and Kristy Stahmann; his grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, Kyla, Logan Laabs and Preston Thiem; his sister Elaine Russell (Leo); his brother-in-law James Hounsell (Carol); and his friends, Gary Abraham, Mark Kunde and Ray. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials to be directed to Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Winnebago Lutheran Academy or Aurora Hospice.
