He was predeceased by: his parents, August and Goldie; and his siblings, Donald and Joyce. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his sons, Dennis (Wendy) and Kenneth; his siblings, Larry (Virginia) and Karen Schroeder (Duane); his grandchildren, Katharine Hale (Dan), Carolyn Ackley (Bradley), Crystal Gruszka (Andrew), Christina Hinz, Justin Hinz and Deanna McCarty (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Leah, Camryn, Gavin, Nadia, Levi, Rayne and William.
