He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Shady and Ethel Coon Shady; and his close friend Shortie. He is survived by: his wife Marilynn Payne; his children, Carla Roeder (Daniel), Richard Shady (Sue), Corey Shady (Julie), Randy Payne (Jennette), Chanse Schomber (Livia) and Dalton Payne (Kourtney); his grandchildren, Justice (T. J.), Sage (Sam), Maryah, Ty, Corey, Kerry (Kyleigh), Brandon (Caitlyn), Dakota (Beth), Jordon (Morgan), Makayla (Brenden), Talia, Mara, Davorin, Pirelli, Kash and Greyson; and his siblings, Sandy Hartman (Warren) and Phil Shady. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
