It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Elaine Hinz of Van Dyne, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bearwald and Clara Bearwald (Giese); her husband Donald Hinz; her daughter Sandra Sell; her brother Orland Bearwald; her parents-in-law, August and Goldie Hinz; and her siblings-in-law, Darrell Hinz and Joyce Roberts (Marlo).
She is survived by: her children, Keith Hinz (Bev), Lynn Hinz (Rhoda), Gary Hinz (Wendy) and Susan Peters (Greg); her grandchildren, Matt Hinz (Angela), Mike Hinz (Fatime), Brian Hinz (Renee), Sara Schwoch (Kyle), Andrew Hinz (Ashley), Ryan Hinz (Tiffany), Adam Hinz (Caryne), Christopher Hinz (Laurel), Jeff Hinz, Jason Colton (Jessica), Jennifer Barber (Brad), Melissa Hardel, Amanda Hardel (Luke), Steven Peters, Nicole Peters and Michael Peters (Casey); her brothers, Robert Bearwald (Mary) and David Bearwald (Eunice); and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Hinz, Karen Schroeder (Duane) and Larry Hinz (Virginia). She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, many nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be forwarded to St. John's Lutheran Church in Nekimi, Wisconsin.
