She was predeceased by: her husband Pete Mellenthin; her grandson Jacob Kopp; and her son-in-law Denny Thomas. She is survived by: her sister Pat Schemenauer (Elmer); her children, Gwen Thomas (Wayne Hempel) of Marshfield, Janine Luepke (Bruce) of Spencer, Randy Mellenthin (Melody) of Unity, Janell Kopp (Dennis) of Loyal and Geana Connelly (Kevin) of Chicago, Illinois; her grandson Troy Luepke (Maria); her children, DeAnn Griepentrog (Ryan), Ryan Thomas, Crystal Weihrouch (Curt), Dana Egner, Luke Mellenthin (Liz), Brandon Kopp, Allison Mellenthin, Mikayla Kopp, Liam and Grace Connelly; and her foster son Rich (Jenny). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial be given to St. John's Lutheran Church in Spencer.
