Though Rita Mae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rita Mae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hensgen and Jennie Hensgen (Stone); her daughter Judy Holbrook; and her brothers, Leonard Hensgen and David Hensgen.
She is survived by: her husband James Eckert Sr.; her sons, Henry Eckert and Robert Eckert (Danelle) of Kenosha; and her brothers, John Hensgen and Paul Hensgen of Kenosha, WI. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
