Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rita Mae Eckert of Union Grove, Wisconsin, born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 74, on September 29, 2024. Though Rita Mae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rita Mae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hensgen and Jennie Hensgen (Stone); her daughter Judy Holbrook; and her brothers, Leonard Hensgen and David Hensgen.

She is survived by: her husband James Eckert Sr.; her sons, Henry Eckert and Robert Eckert (Danelle) of Kenosha; and her brothers, John Hensgen and Paul Hensgen of Kenosha, WI. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
