She was predeceased by: her husband Lyle Meekma; her son Chris Douglas; her siblings, Catherine Starck, Marie Olcott, Charles Clemons and Edith Clemons; and her great grandchild Jay.
She is survived by: her children, James H. Meekma (Kim), Debra L. Ampe (Paul), Bruce L. Meekma (Cindy) and Kelly Meekma (Marcia Gerould); her sister Freda Lovell of Powderly, KY; her grandchildren, Jamie Jensen (Nicholas), Carrie Simpson (Barry), Jacqueline Ibarra, Jennifer Meekma (Michael Podhola), Lisa McNeish (Garret), Jim Meekma (Cheryl), Brian Meekma (Traci), Barry Meekma and Stephanie Escobar; and her great grandchildren, Julia Rosenquist-Rodriguez, Eric Ibarra, Salma Ibarra, Lauren Simpson, Sevana McNeish, Garret McNeish, Jr. and Emily Kruchten. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, only 50 people will be allowed to enter the funeral home at a time.
