She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clyde Yancey and Mary Yancey (Stanford); her spouse Adkins (Thompson); her daughters, Patty Demant (Lee) and Monica Welke (Dale); her grandchildren, Cary Madrigal, Josh Demant (Lauren), Beth and Kelsey Welke; her great grandchildren, Paige (Tate Koester), Dawson Demant, Nathan, Linzy and Katie Madrigal; and her great great grandchildren, Brighton and Van. She was also cherished by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her great-great grandchildren.
