She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Gal and Justina Gal; her spouse Glen Hegeman; her in-laws, Harry and Jessie Hegeman; her brothers, Paul Gal (Juanita) and Rudy Gal; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Schumacher (Dick), Betty Pieters (Ralph), Donna Dorn (Ed), Eileen Byers and Nelson Seward; her sons, Lawrence Hegeman and Daniel John Hegeman; and her son-in-law Kevin Kramer.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Patrick (Mike), William Hegeman (Becky), Sally Epping, Matt Hegeman, Peggy Sawasky and Sandra Hegeman; her foster son Pat Pieters; her daughter-in-law Debbie Weber-Hegeman; and her sister-in-law Ruth Seward. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
