He was predeceased by: his parents, Narcy Ertman and Evelyn Ertman; and his brothers, Eugene "Buddy" Ertman and Lee Ertman. He is survived by: his wife Helen Petrashek; his children, Danny Ertman, Kristen Miller of California, Kay Hannes (Michael) of Plymouth and Barry Ertman; his grandchildren, Ryan, Drew, Melissa, Garret, Brian, Michelle, Tommy, Tracy, Bryanna, Rowan and Grace; his great grandchildren, Arianna, Atticus, Aiden, Madelyn "Maddie", Alexis and Skylar; and his sisters-in-law, Patti Ertman of Two Rivers and Helen Emery of North Dakota. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Congregational United Church of Christ.
