He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Valenta and Josephine Valenta (Bolz); his wife Patricia Funk of Luke's Catholic Church; his brother Jerome Valenta (Marilyn); and his sister-in-law Diane Funk.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Valenta of Two Rivers, Greg Valenta (Kerri) of Two Rivers, Dan Valenta (Julie) of Two Rivers, Jeff Valenta (Terri) of Jackson and Patrick Valenta of Waupun; his grandchildren, Jessica Bruce (Matt), Emily Spencer (Chris), Hunter Valenta (Ciara), Landon Valenta (Tonya), Breanna Posvic-Valenta (Bryce) and Katelyn Valenta; his great grandchildren, Jack, Liam, Emma Bruce, Tobin, Will, Jaxon and Graham Spencer; his siblings, Ben Valenta (Nancy) of Mishicot, Francis Valenta (Rita) of Mishicot, Jim Valenta of Mishicot, Richard Valenta (Carol) of Florida and Mary Lou Rocheleau of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Tomchek (Nancy) of Manitowoc, Paul Funk, John Kleckner (Sandy) of Two Rivers, Peggy Krejcarek of Mishicot, Ken Krejcarek, Bill Rocheleau and John Peltier (Liz). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
