He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Dier and Julia Dier (Tlachac); his siblings, Anthony Dier and Margaret Nemec; and his sisters-in-law, Lynda and Ann Dier.
He is survived by: his wife Brigitte Gahlert; his stepdaughter Kristina Penn (Kouri); his children, Knilah and Kanyon; and his brothers, Francis Dier of Two Rivers and James Dier of Two Rivers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
