He was predeceased by: his mother Jeanette Kakuk (Thielbar); his spouse Loree Smogoleski; and his father-in-law Ervin Smogoleski (Doris). He is survived by: his father Louis Kakuk (Jeanette); his children, Angela Leurquin (John), Jason Kakuk (Julie) and Jeff Kakuk (Kim); and his grandchildren, Steig, Paxton, Keaton, Izabelle, Nevaeh, Jameson, Lily and Maya. He is also survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law; four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
