She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Melanson and Josephine Melanson (Schemenowski); her husband John G. "Sandy" Eggers of Luke's Catholic Church; her parents-in-law, George and Ella Eggers; her brothers, Richard and Franklin Melanson; and her siblings-in-law, George Rehrauer, Joann Melanson and Kathleen Koller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Wigen (Robert) of Valders and Diane Bruder (Keith) of Two Rivers; her grandson Nicholas Walesh (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Cassidy, Gloria and Evelyn; her grandchildren, Charles Walesh and Emma Deroff (Julien); her great grandchild Margaux; her grandson Alexander Bruder (Jackie); her great grandchildren, Ella and Lily; her grandson Adam Bruder (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Penelope and Vance; her siblings, Ted Melanson of Two Rivers and Katherine Beranek (Allen) of Mishicot; and her sisters-in-law, Georgianne Melanson of Utah and Ellen Rehrauer of Two Rivers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church (3201 Mishicot Rd, Two Rivers, WI 54241). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (3801 Mishicot Rd, Two Rivers, WI 54241).
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Rogers Street Fishing Village, St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, or the donor's choice.
