He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann Philipps (Buenzow) and Gilbert "DoDo" Philipps; and his sister Gail Liebau. He is survived by: his children, Abigail Philipps (Matthew Robertson) of Denver, CO and Andrew Philipps (Lori Thomason) of Two Rivers; his grandchildren, AJ and Kaylae; his brothers, Rick (Sharon Philipps) and Charlie (Cheryl Philipps); his brother-in-law Jim Liebau of Maribel; and the mother of his children Kelly Behringer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels (1506 18th St, Two Rivers, WI 54241). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
