He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Avery and Loretta Avery (Mott); his wife Agnes Reimer; and his sisters, Sharon and Yvonne.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Avery and Rebecca Avery (Gabriel Llumbet); his grandchildren, Anthony, Colten and Nico; his stepdaughter Tammi Brux (Lance); his stepgrandson Dominic; his stepdaughter Kari Gilbert (Todd); his stepgrandchildren, Savanna and Josiah; his brothers, Gene Avery (Val) and Allan Avery; and his close friends, Debbie and Steve Koch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 4:00 PM. The military honors was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the V. F. W. Post #1248 and American Legion Post #165 of Two Rivers.
