She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Geimer and Leona Geimer (Petri); her husband Joseph A. Honzik; and her brother Mark Rudebeck. She is survived by: her children, JoAnne (Ted Schoenke), Pete (Christine Honzik), Fran (Mary Jo Honzik), John (Cathi Honzik), Mich and Ellie Honzik of Austin, Tex.; her grandchildren, Brian Mehlhorn (Angie), Anna Honzik, Matthew Honzik (Diane) and Stephanie Honzik; her great grandchildren, Mallory, Marissa, Lillian and Luke Mehlhorn; and her brother Frederick Geimer, Jr.. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorials in Ardis' name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the Alzheimer's Association or the National Railroad Museum.
