She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jelava and Ann Jelava (Aleksonis); and her children, Babs DeThorne, Michele DeThorne and Susan DeThorne.
She is survived by: her sibling Lakes; her children, Terri Weeden (Skiff), Cindy March (Gregg) and Tracy Blasius (Michael); her grandchildren, Sarah March, Evelyn Blasius, Charlotte Blasius and Lilyann Balsius; and her siblings, Margie Risley (William) and Juliann Jelava Babine (Art).
